Italian translator: Carnegie Hall, L'Arpeggiata
I was hired as an Italian translator for Carnegie Hall's presenting series concert of early music ensemble L'Arpeggiata.
The concerts were October 6 and 7, 2017, in Zankel Hall.
L’Arpeggiata: Christina Pluhar, Artistic Director and Theorbo
Céline Scheen, Soprano Giuseppina Bridelli, Mezzo-Soprano Vincenzo Capezzuto, Alto
The texts included arias by Rossi, Monteverdi, Strozzi, Cesti, Cavalli, and traditional Italian songs in dialect.
For a complete copy of the October 7 program, with texts: see this link.
As an Italian immigrant and classical musician, what a joy to give back in this manner!
